WADESBORO, N.C. — Anson County saw a couple of inches of snow during a second round of wintry weather that hit the Carolinas.  We found slick roads along Highway 74 in Wadesboro which could be a big problem for drivers.

Anson County maintenance engineers spent several days pre-treating roads with brine throughout the county to make sure all heavily traveled and secondary roads are safe for drivers.  Last weekend, the county had to deal with ice and freezing rain.

No major problems were reported throughout the area.
