Discussion:
A few isolated showers across the Piedmont this evening with scattered snow showers in the mountains. Saturday will be well below average with high temperatures struggling to reach 60 degrees. Sunday will be a bit warmer, but still below average. Snow showers will be on and off through the weekend in the mountains with areas about 3,500 feet picking up a trace – 2”. Areas above 5,000 feet could see 3”+. Gradual warming through next week with 80s back in the forecast. The next best chance for rain comes later in the week.
Forecast:
Tonight: Slight chance of showers this evening. Partly cloudy skies. Low temperatures bottom out in the mid to upper 30s. Winds will be out of the west at 10-20 mph.
Saturday: Patchy AM frost. Partly sunny skies. High temperatures only reach the mid to upper 50s.
Sunday: Patchy frost in the morning. Sunny skies with high temperatures in the mid 60s.
