CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Due to inclement weather and the MLK holiday, all Charlotte residents who did not get their trash picked up on Friday are being asked to leave it at the curb on Monday, January 24th for priority pickup.

It is reported more than 5,000 customers did not receive collection on Friday, January 21st due to the winter storm and holiday.

Officials say garbage , yard waste, and bulk items will be collected on a regular schedule beginning Monday, and recycling collection will operate on a one-day delay for the upcoming week.
