CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating a northwest Charlotte homicide Monday afternoon.
Police responded to Vinton Street, off of Oaklawn Avenue, where one victim was pronounced dead, according to a tweet from CMPD at 1:45 p.m.
The victim’s identity has not been released.
The investigation into this case is active and ongoing.
