A flash flood watch remains in effect for the foothills until noon today. Some areas received more than 5″ of rainfall yesterday. Heavy downpours will be possible once again today with highs reaching the low to mid-70s. Cold front will pass through the region today, but a low off the Carolina coast will keep rain chances in the forecast tomorrow. Finally, drying out by Sunday. Highs will reach the upper 70s. Temps will be climbing next week with highs reaching the low to mid 80s by Tuesday.
