CHARLOTTE, NC — Dozens of police officers responded to reports of shots fired in east Charlotte Wednesday night.
Crime scene tape blocked off the intersection of Shamrock Drive at Finchley Drive, where a WCCB Charlotte crew saw a person’s body covered in the roadway.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police say there is a homicide investigation underway at the scene, but did not release any details about this incident as of late Wednesday night.
